Top Fuel represents the absolute extreme of drag racing. These 11,000-horsepower nitromethane-burning machines cover the quarter mile in under 3.7 seconds, reaching speeds exceeding 330 mph. Each run consumes nearly 15 gallons of fuel while generating forces that would destroy a normal engine. Top Fuel dragsters accelerate faster than any other land-based vehicle.
